Site Intelink Information Manager (SIIM)
Position Description
The Information Management Directorate (IMD) requires Intelink sites, both producer and consumer, to designate a single individual as the primary IMO/IMD focal point into that organization for Intelink Information Management (IM) matters. Intelink brings many intelligence functions and considerations into an integrated information service environment - i.e. requirements management, security, production, publishing, librarian and dissemination services.
To provide improved Intelink information services it is beneficial for the Site Intelink Information Manager to have a high-level of understanding of local organization procedures and National policies across the intelligence disciplines. Specifically, the SIIM must be empowered with the authority to establish organizational Intelink policies and commit resources to fulfill the goals of the organization's Intelink program.

Knowledge and Skills
To provide improved Intelink information services, it is beneficial for the Site Intelink Information Manager (SIIM) to have a high-level of understanding of internal procedures and National policies across the various intelligence functions.
A SIIM must possess an in-depth understanding of who the consumers are, what problems consumers are experiencing with Intelink, how information on Intelink is used, and know where the sources of the information on Intelink are located.
Extensive knowledge of the site's hardware, software, and communications configuration is advantageous but not required, however, a general understanding should be attained to better assess the impact of Intelink IM policy and standards on site configurations.
