Author Biography:
FREDRICK THOMAS MARTIN began his career with the U.S. Intelligence Community in 1960 on the front lines as a linguist and intelligence analyst in the Middle East. He retired from the National Security Agency as a computer scientist and Deputy Director of their Information Services Group in 1998. He then founded Martin Consulting Associates, Inc. to provide consulting and business development services on advanced information technology applications to meet the requirements of the Intelligence Community, other government agencies, and companies within the private sector. Mr. Martin was an Adjunct Professor for twenty-five years at The American University in Washington, D.C., developing and teaching courses in mathematics, statistics, and computer science. He is the author of the first commercially published book on current intelligence operations within the US Intelligence Community entitled, “TOP SECRET Intranet: How US Intelligence Built INTELINK, the Largest, Most Secure Network.” Mr. Martin holds a masters degree in computer systems/operations research from the American University. His undergraduate degree is in mathematics.
